Martín Nusspaumer is a Uruguayan operatic tenor.
[1] Nusspaumer was born in Juan Lacaze, Uruguay.
[13] Nusspaumer has had principal roles in operas including La bohème,[14] Carmen,[15] Lucia di Lammermoor,[16] La traviata,[17] Madama Butterfly,[18] Eugene Onegin,[19] La battaglia di Legnano,[20] Don Giovanni,[21] "Thais,[22] Nabucco,[23] and L'elisir d'amore.
He is also active in the zarzuela genre including Luisa Fernanda,[24] La tabernera del puerto,[25] Katiuska, la mujer rusa [es] by Pablo Sorozábal,[26] and Cecilia Valdés[27] and has promoted this genre around the United States.
