Marwan Attia Fahim Ghallab (born 12 August 1998) is an Egyptian footballer who plays as a midfielder for Egyptian Premier League club Al Ahly and the Egypt national team.
He signed with Al Ahly SC in the middle of the 2022–23 season amid interest from arch-rivals Zamalek SC on a four-and-a-half-year contract.
[2][3] He was called up for the first time to the Egyptian national team in August 2022,[4] before making his first appearance on 24 March 2023.
[5] Attia's father passed away on 13 July 2023, while Attia was in a camp preparing for the Zamalek match.
[6] He married his fiancée, Salma Saqr, on 25 July 2024, after postponing it from last year due to the death of his father.
