Mathis Ferté was born on (2004-02-02)2 February 2004 and grew up in Luzech, Lot where he started playing rugby at the age of five and trained until 2014.
After four years at Cahors, Ferté then joined professional club Brive renowned youth system in 2018.
[1] Ferté made his professional debut with his club against Toulon on 8 October 2022 and scored his first try three weeks later in a home game against Racing 92 in which he started at the 15.
[1] After winning the Rugby Europe Under-18 Sevens Championship with the France national under-18 rugby sevens team in early July 2022,[3] Ferté made his debut for France U20 on 10 February 2023 in the Six Nations Under 20s Championship match against Ireland.
[4] Having graduated from high school with a management bachelor's degree,[4] he studies business in Brive-la-Gaillarde.
