Matihetihe is a community in the Hokianga area of Northland, New Zealand.
The Matihetihe Stream runs into the Tasman Sea to the west.

The results were 35.0% European (Pākehā), 90.0% Māori, 6.7% Pasifika, 3.3% Asian, and 3.3% other, which includes people giving their ethnicity as "New Zealander".
