Matthew Thomas DeSalvo (born September 11, 1980) is a former Major League Baseball pitcher.
He made his major league debut with the New York Yankees on May 7, 2007, against the Seattle Mariners going 7 innings and only giving up 3 hits.
In 2005, he posted a 9–5 record and a 3.02 earned run average (ERA) in 24 starts with the Trenton Thunder.
On August 15, 2010, he signed and was activated by the York Revolution of the independent Atlantic League of Professional Baseball.
[8] Despite being injured for much of the second half, he finished the season third in the Atlantic League in strikeouts with 108 and fourth in ERA at 3.89.

On August 23, 2014, DeSalvo signed with the York Revolution of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball.
