Matthew Robert Field[1] OBE is a British diplomat.

[2] Between August 2018 and June 2022 he has served as the British Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

[3][4] In January 2023 he took up the post of ambassador to the Czech Republic.

[5][6] Field was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the 2023 New Year Honours for services to British foreign policy.

[7] Field graduated with a BA in Religious Studies, an MA in Japanese Studies, and an MA in Business Administration.
