Matt Lockett (born June 8, 1974) is an American politician and Republican member of the Kentucky House of Representatives from Kentucky's 39th House district since January 2021.

His district comprises parts of Fayette and Jessamine counties.

[1] Lockett earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Murray State University, and later earned a Master of Arts from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

He is currently employed as a financial adviser at Family Wealth Group.

[2] Lockett is also a former chair of the Jessamine County Republican Party as well as a volunteer for the Alzheimer's Association and member of the Jessamine County Chamber of Commerce.
