As coach Matthew John Wise (born November 18, 1975) is an American former professional baseball player.

A right-handed pitcher, he played all or parts of eight seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB) between 2000 and 2008.

After missing the entire 2003 season due to injury, he was released by the Angels and signed with the Milwaukee Brewers.
