Matthew Dennis Lewis was born and raised in the town of Binghamton in the Southern Tier of New York[1][2] and has three brothers, one of whom is fellow actor twin Russell.
[1] Lewis moved to New York City and trained and competed in the martial art of Muay Thai.
[1] Lewis lived in New York City for six years before moving to Los Angeles[2] where he currently (April 2020)[3] resides and works.
[2] Lewis and his brother have played twins Seth and Steve Rhodes in the CBS series Blue Bloods (2019),[3] and again as Charlie and Big Joe in the supernatural thriller Burning Shadow (2018),[4] In 2017, Lewis and Russell had recurring roles as twin brothers Donnie and Daryl Devlin, in the Netflix Western series Godless (2017).
