[7] In his own paintings, Krishanu creates work from memory and photographs, 're-imagining' events through editing, simplifying and layering.
[8] In one of his painting he explained "My subject matter is often autobiographical, drawing on memories and photographs – particularly of my childhood in Bangladesh.
Rather than straight autobiography, I prefer to work with imagery that has open narratives.
