He is a member of the Australian men's national field hockey team, making his first cap in 2009.

[11][12][13] In February during the training camp, he played in a four nations test series with the teams being the Kookaburras, Australia A Squad, the Netherlands and Argentina.
He was selected to play for the Kookaburras at the Olympic games in 2012, beating the United Kingdom in the Bronze medal match.
