As of the 2020 census[1] there were 14,668 people, 6,754 households, and 3,818 families residing in the township.

The racial makeup of the township was 89.56% White, 3.03% African American, 0.28% Native American, 0.61% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 1.02% from other races, and 5.49% from two or more races.

36.80% of all households were made up of individuals, and 14.70% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
