Maud Hogarth Yardley (6 March 1867 – 1 May 1954) was a British writer.
She married British writer, drama critic and former cricketer William Yardley,[1][2] in New York in 1886, and they had four children.
[5] Yardley was a widow with young children when she became a published author.
[6] Her first novel, Sinless (1906), was described as a "foggy romance" of mistaken identities.
[9][10] She also wrote short stories for newspapers and magazines.
