Hemignathus ellisiana lanaiensis The Maui Nui ʻakialoa or Lānaʻi ʻakialoa (Akialoa lanaiensis) is an extinct species of Hawaiian honeycreeper in the subfamily Carduelinae of the family Fringillidae.
It inhabited the islands of Maui, Lānaʻi, and Molokaʻi in Hawaii.
