Maura McHugh (writer)

Maura McHugh is an Irish author of horror and fantasy in prose, comic books, plays, and screenplays.

[2][3] Based in Galway, McHugh is the author of Róisín Dubh and Jennifer Wilde.

[6] She was Guest of Honour at the 2015 Octocon (the Irish National Science Fiction Convention).

In 2018, she was invited to take part in an initiative of the Creative Europe project, a 10-day residency in Angoulême in France.

[7] Since 2018, she has worked on a number of Judge Anderson stories for Rebellion, including a novella published in 2020.
