Max's Steaks is a cheesesteak and hoagie restaurant that was founded in 1994 on Germantown Ave in Nicetown, North Philadelphia.
He noticed the popularity of Jim's and believed he could open an establishment in North Philadelphia where he has owned and operated bars and other businesses.
