Max Anderson (baseball)

Maxwell Edward Anderson (born February 28, 2002) is an American professional baseball second baseman in the Detroit Tigers organization.

Anderson attended Millard West High School and Nebraska.

[1] In Anderson's amateur career, he earned multiple honors being the Big Ten Freshman of the Year in 2021 and was a unanimous First-Team All Big Ten in 2023, while playing for the University of Nebraska.

He also slugged for a total of 101 hits including 20 doubles, two triples, 21 homers, and 70 RBIs in 57 game he played during the season.

[4][5] Anderson was selected by the Detroit Tigers in the second round with the 45th pick in the 2023 Major League Baseball draft.
