Max Yates (born October 30, 1979) is an American former professional football linebacker.
He was signed by the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free agent in 2002 and would play three seasons in the National Football League (NFL).
At Marshall, Yates finished his career with 383 tackles and was named MAC Defensive Player of the Year as a senior in 2001.
