Maxdorf is a municipality in the Rhein-Pfalz-Kreis, in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany.

It is situated approximately 11 km west of Ludwigshafen.

Maxdorf was founded in 19th century by Maximilian I Joseph of Bavaria.

In 1952, Maxdorf became an independent municipality again.
