Maybury Hill

Maybury Hill is a historic house at 346 Snowden Lane, in Princeton, Mercer County, New Jersey, United States.

Built about 1725, it was the birthplace and boyhood home of Joseph Hewes (1730-1779), a signer of the United States Declaration of Independence.

It is built out of fieldstone which was finished in the 20th century in concrete, and is covered by a gabled roof.

In 1753 an ell was added, joining the main block to the kitchen and giving the house its overall L shape.

During the American Revolution he served in the Continental Congress, and signed the United States Declaration of Independence.
