Mayfield, Utah

Mayfield is a town in southwestern Sanpete County, Utah, United States.

[5] Some of the area's founding families included the Andersons, Petersons, Petersens, Bartholomews, Jensens, Sorensens, and Willdens.

When the first white settlers arrived, they learned that this area was considered sacred by the Indians, who said it was a "healing ground."

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.8 square miles (2.1 km2), all land.

22.7% of all households were made up of individuals, and 14.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
