Fountain Green, Utah

Fountain Green is a city in Sanpete County, Utah, United States.

Fountain Green was originally called "Uintah Springs", and under the latter name settlement was made in 1859.

[5] According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.4 square miles (3.6 km2), all land.

The annual city celebration is Lamb Day each July, in recognition of the local sheep ranching industry.

The event includes a play, mutton busting, carnival, softball games, a fun run, large number of lambs cooked in an open pit, and a parade down State Street.
