Shahinul Alam is a Bangladeshi physician and academic who is the incumbent vice-chancellor of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU).

[1] Prior to this appointment, he served as the pro-vice chancellor (academic) of the same institution.

[2] Alam was born in Ramganj Upazila, Lakshmipur District.

[3] He passed MBBS from Chittagong Medical College.
