Mehr-e-Taban Academy (Persian: مجتمع آموزشی فرهنگی مهر تابان) (Mehrschool) [1] in Shiraz, Iran was founded by Zahra Goorangi in 1993.

The academy's name is taken from the book Mehr-e-Taban written by Seyed Mohammad Hossein Hosseini Tehrani.

Mehr-e-taban academy holds a passion play about Imam Hossein each year in Muharram.

[4] Islamic Republic News Agency reported that students in Shiraz signed a banner in support of say No to a dangerous Chaharshanbe Suri campaign and promised that on the evening of last Tuesday of the year they will not use firecrackers and explosives.

On this banner which has been initiated by Mehr-e-Taban Academy, students, teachers and staff pledged and signed not to use firecrackers and explosives in commemoration of the Plasco event.
