Mel Triplett

He played eight years in the National Football League (NFL) for the New York Giants (1955–1960) and Minnesota Vikings (1961–1962).

[1] He scored the opening touchdown against the Chicago Bears in the 1956 NFL Championship Game, won by the Giants 47–7.
