Mississippi RiverKings

The Mississippi RiverKings were a professional minor league ice hockey team.

For their first eight seasons, the team played their home games in the Mid-South Coliseum in Memphis, Tennessee.

[1] On May 24, 2018, the RiverKings' ownership announced it had suspended operations for the 2018–19 season,[2][3][4] but the team never again took the ice.

This involved accepting some players on assignment from the National Hockey League club.
