Merandy González (born October 9, 1995) is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher who is a free agent.
In 8 appearances for the Marlins during his rookie campaign, González registered a 5.73 ERA with 19 strikeouts in 22.0 innings pitched.
[7] He was optioned to the Triple-A Sacramento River Cats to begin the year,[8] but was designated for assignment on March 25 following the waiver claim of Tom Murphy.
