The film is an anthology of 4 different heartwarming stories of contemporary couples and stars Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Ali Fazal, and Fatima Sana Shaikh.
Konkana Sen Sharma is retained from the original film but may be expected not to reprise her role.
Anurag Basu cast Aditya Roy Kapur and Fatima Sana Sheikh once again after Netflix original film Ludo (2020).
[10] Principal photography of the film includes the Kolkata leg of the shoot that was carried out in December 2022.
