Metters Limited

In 1908 Spring founded Metters Ltd. with himself as managing director and a capital of £100,000, to purchase Fred's interest in the company and greatly expanded the business.

In 1911, three employees of Metters Limited, Norman Keysor, Edward Forrest, and Henry Barnett, left to found K.F.B.

Pots and pans could be exposed to direct heat by removing small plates recessed in the cooking surface.

[6][7] In 1933 Roy Crowhurst from Metters became one of the early socceroos, as Australia's soccer internationals are called these days, when he was part of a tour of New Caledonia.
