It was replaced by a four-room grade school which was more than doubled later with the addition of a five-room annex.
This building remained the Jackson High School main campus until 2008, when a new campus was built on the school's athletic fields; the original building was demolished and its area used for the new athletic fields.

The school's grades by year since the FCAT began in 1998 are: Ito Paniagua, Rodelay Medina, Gil Luna, Sedrick Roundtree and Marcel Martinez, whose 1998 National Championship was made into the 2020 motion picture Critical Thinking (film).
