Michael Adas (born February 4, 1943, in Detroit, Michigan) is an American historian and currently the Abraham E. Voorhees Professor of History at Rutgers University, New Jersey.
He attended Western Michigan University (Kalamazoo, MI), where he graduated summa cum laude in 1965.

[1] In 1996, Michael Adas received dual honors and was promoted to Rutgers University Board of Governors' Professor and received the Abraham E. Voorhees Chair in History.
