Michael Boamah

Michael Boamah (born 16 April 2003) is a Finnish professional footballer who plays as a centre back for Veikkausliiga club HJK.

Boamah played in the youth sector of Imatran Palloseura (IPS) in Imatra since he was nine years old.

[5] Boaham has played two friendly games for Finland U16 national team against Sweden in August 2018.

He was raised in The Bronx, New York, and in Philadelphia until his parents separated and he moved to Accra, Ghana, with his mother.

Boamah holds a dual Finnish-American citizenship, and speaks Finnish, English and Twi.
