Michel Mercier (hairdresser)

Michel Mercier (Hebrew: מישל מרסייה; born July 28, 1961) is a French-Israeli hairdresser, entrepreneur and businessman.

In 1981 he returned to France from Israel to study hairdressing at the Vidal Sassoon academy in Paris and later began working at French hair salon Claude Maxime.

In December 2014, Israeli entrepreneur Benny Landa bought the company and sold it to L'Oréal.

In 2006, Mercier began to market a line of hair products he developed in collaboration with laboratories and engineering teams.

Over the years, Mercier worked with Hollywood celebrities including Brigitte Bardot and Isabel Adjani and presented at hair shows and seminars.
