Michelle Cohen Farber

1971 or 1972 (age 52–53)[1]) is the first woman to lead a Daf Yomi,[2] a multi-year Jewish Talmud study cycle traditionally reserved for men.

[1][3][4] Her study group meets at her home in Raanana, Israel, although the classes are recorded and circulated throughout the world on numerous platforms, including YouTube and Spotify.

[5] She studied at Barnard College in the U.S., then at Bar-Ilan University in Israel where she received a bachelor's degree in Talmud and Bible.
