Middleburg is a town in Vance County, North Carolina, United States.

Middleburg is located roughly halfway between New York and Atlanta,[7] which is possibly the etymology of the town.

13.0% of all households were made up of individuals, and 3.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

About 4.2% of families and 5.0% of the population were below the poverty line, including 10.5% of those under the age of eighteen and none of those 65 or over.
