Miguel Segura

Miguel Antonio Segura Vargas (born 2 September 1963) is a Costa Rican retired football goalkeeper.

He started his career in 1983 at Sagrada Familia, had a spell at Ramonense[1] and moved to Saprissa in 1987.

[3] He also played for Palmares,[4] Turrialba, Limonense and abroad for Salvadoran sides Municipal Limeño and Dragón and Guatemalan outfit Deportivo Carchá.

[1] When with Saprissa, Segura set a new Costa Rican Primera Division record of keeping a clean sheet of 855 minutes during 10 matches in 1989.

[6] Nicknamed Manguera, Segura was a non-playing squad member for Costa Rica in the 1990 FIFA World Cup.
