Mihaela Cardei

Mihaela Cardei is a Romanian-American computer scientist known for her research on wireless ad hoc networks.

[1] Cardei earned bachelor's and master's degrees in computer science in 1995 and 1996, respectively, at the Politehnica University of Bucharest.

[2] She completed her Ph.D. in 2003 at the University of Minnesota, under the supervision of Ding-Zhu Du.

[2] Florida Atlantic University named Cardei their researcher of the year at the assistant professor level for 2006–2007.
