Mike McCormick (third baseman)

Michael Joseph McCormick (October 22, 1882 – November 18, 1953), was an American professional baseball third baseman.

McCormick began his baseball career in 1901 with the Connecticut State League Waterbury Rough Riders under Hall of Famer Roger Connor.

[1] The Superbas finished in sixth place in the National League that year.

[2] At 5 feet 3 inches tall, he is considered to be one of the shortest major league ballplayers ever.
