Mike Price (basketball)

Price played college basketball for the Illinois Fighting Illini and was selected in the first round of the 1970 NBA draft by the New York Knicks.

Born in Russellville, Kentucky, Mike Price attended Arsenal Technical High School in Indianapolis, Indiana where he played for Coach Jack Bradford, graduating in 1966.

Playing with his younger brother Jim, Price helped lead Arsenal Technical High School to the State Finals in 1966.

He spent time in the United States Army Reserve during the 1971 NBA offseason and returned a month before the season commenced.
