Juan Miguel "Mikey" Macapagal Arroyo (Tagalog pronunciation: [hwan mɪˈɡɛl ˈmaɪki makapaˈɡal ɐˈɾɔjɔ]; born April 26, 1969) is a Filipino politician and former actor who served as the Representative of Pampanga's 2nd district from 2019 to 2022 and previously from 2004 to 2010.
Mike Arroyo, former Speaker of the House and Vice President, is a descendant of Philippine Revolutionary General, Gen. Aniceto Lacson of Negros Occidental.
In August 2009, Vera Files, a group of veteran Filipino journalists, reported that Arroyo "has failed to declare in his Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Networth (SALN) for the last two years a $1.32 million or P63.7 million beachfront property in the San Francisco Bay Area in California, which he bought and then transferred to his wife Angela in 2006."
