The unincorporated community of Millbrook is in the northeast corner of the township.

State highway M-66 crosses the center of the township from north to south.

Big Rapids, the Mecosta county seat, is 30 miles (48 km) by road to the northwest.

19.4% of all households were made up of individuals, and 8.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
