Milton Carpenter

Milton Carpenter (March 4, 1905 – November 19, 1996) was an American politician.

He worked as a construction executive before fighting in World War II.

Carpenter then served as the city comptroller of St. Louis and as the director of the Missouri Department of Revenue under Governor James T. Blair Jr.

He was elected Treasurer of Missouri in 1960, holding the office until 1965.
