Milton Township is located in the southwestern corner of Cass County and is bordered by Berrien County to the west and the state of Indiana to the south.
The community of Granger, Indiana, is directly to the south of the township.

There were 971 housing units at an average density of 45.7 per square mile (17.6/km2).
13.0% of all households were made up of individuals, and 6.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
