Minifootball (sometimes referred to as mini-football or minifoot) is a small-sided variation of football.

[1] Minifootball is played in 5-a-side format, with additional variants of 6-a-side, 7-a-side, 8-a-side, 9-a-side and indoor football.

The highest global authority for the 5-a-side format is the World Minifootball Federation (WMF).

The WMF organizes its own World Cup every 2 years, as well as continental championships through established national federations.
