Member State of the Arab League The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research is a department of the Government of Syria that is responsible for maintaining and implementing government policies in higher education in Syria.

It was created in the name of the Ministry of Higher Education by Decree 143 issued on November 24, 1966.

27,[3] and it has been headed by Engineer Bassam Ibrahim since November 26, 2018.
