Mink Alphons Louis van der Weerden (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈmɪŋk fɑn dər ˈʋeːrdə(n)]; born 19 October 1988)[1] is a Dutch former field hockey player who played as a defender.
Van der Weerden made his debut for the national team in 2010 and has since played in three Olympic Games, two World Cups and three European Championships.
After Oranje Zwart merged in 2016 with EMHC he signed a four-year contract for the newly formed club HC Oranje-Rood.
[7] At the 2012 Summer Olympics, he competed for the national team in the men's tournament where the Netherlands won silver.
