Mirzayi (Armenian: Միրզաի or Միրզեի; Azerbaijani: Mirzəyi) is an Armenian[1][2] and Azerbaijani[3][4][5][6] female dance of Iranian origin.
[8] In Azerbaijan, the dance is called "Vagzaly" (Azerbaijani: Vağzalı).
[6] The dance was performed in the Soviet Armenian drama film Pepo, which was considered the 'most outstanding' film in Soviet cinema before the outbreak of World War II.
[10] Наряду со стремлением сохранить старинные женские танцы («мирзаи», «узундара») создаются новые.
