Mission control centre (Cospas-Sarsat)

Within the Cospas-Sarsat programme, Mission control centres (MCCs) are responsible for receiving and distributing distress signal alerts from emergency position-indicating radiobeacon stations.

MCCs are a core component of the international satellite based search and rescue system.
