Mlázovice is a market town in Jičín District in the Hradec Králové Region of the Czech Republic.
Originally the name was Mlazovice, but in the 16th century it was distorted to Mlázovice because of its similarity with the word mlází ('young forest').
The highest point is the hill Maxinec at 450 m (1,480 ft) above sea level.
In 1540, during the rule of the Karlík of Nežetice family, Mlázovice was promoted to a market town.
In 1594, Mlázovice was acquired by the Smiřický family and annexed to the Hořice estate.
