Mogens Glistrup

Mogens Glistrup (28 May 1926 in Rønne – 1 July 2008 in Virum) was a Danish politician, lawyer and tax protester.

He had his parliamentary immunity revoked a total of six times due to criminal convictions for tax fraud and racism.

[2] His television appearance triggered mass outrage, and Finance Minister Poul Møller made a complaint to Danmarks Radio, stating that they should rather have presented factual information on filling out tax returns.

The government proceeded to have police and tax authorities begin an investigation into Glistrup's finances.

[3] He had a unique sense of humour, the most famous example of which was his suggestion to replace the Ministry of Defence with an answering machine saying "We Surrender" in Russian.
